Evergreen Workshop is pleased to announce that we now carry instruments from the workshop of Edgar Russ. Edgar is an internationally recognized violin maker, with over 30 years of experience. Edgar studied in Cremona at the Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria, Antonio Stradivari. After school Edgar went to the US to expand his expertise in violin making.

Evergreen Workshop has instruments available from the Edgar Russ’ Linea Macchi and Scala Perfetta instrument lines and Master instruments can be special ordered.

The Linea Macchi Edgar Russ violin for sale we currently have is a copy of a 1746 Testore violin, a fine Italian violin handcrafted by renowned Milanese Luthier Carlo Antonio Testore (1687–1765). Testore’s instruments are known worldwide for their high quality of sound, are in high demand and are played by world class/professional string players worldwide.
